Legal basis and policy support for implementation of PIMAFT’s programs on values formation, moral recovery, ethical leadership, and good governance are supported by Philippine laws and executive issuances that promote moral renewal, accountability, and principled public service.
These include:
RA 6713
Establishes norms of conduct for public officials and employees, promoting integrity, professionalism, and commitment to public interest.
Proclamation No. 62, s. 1992
Declares a Moral Recovery Program and encourages the participation of all sectors in society.
EO 151, s. 1994
Supports moral regeneration through family, school, church, and media.
EO 319, s. 1996
Reinforces the Moral Recovery Program as official policy and strengthens the moral resources of the Filipino people.
EO 713, s. 2008
Strengthens the authority of the Presidential Council on Values Formation for promoting a just and moral society.
